What to expect before you connect EzSocial.
Does the command publish anything immediately?
No. It only adds EzSocial as an MCP server in Claude Code. Publishing happens when you request and authorize a publishing action.
Can Claude Code use files in my repo?
Claude Code can read files you give it access to, then call EzSocial's MCP tools to turn that context into drafts or scheduled posts.
Do I need an EzSocial API key?
No API key is needed for the hosted MCP connection. Authenticate through the browser when Claude Code prompts you.
Can I attach a local screenshot?
The MCP server can import a publicly accessible media URL. A local file must first be uploaded to EzSocial or made available through a supported upload path before it can be attached to a post.
